Adult Education...
For Fall 2008, the Adult Education Ministry will be offering the following class:
Peter: The Passionate Servant
Description: This study will explore the Apostle Peter's journey from a burly fisherman to a humble self-effacing servant of Jesus Christ. His personal impulsiveness is transformed into a scrupulous subordination to our Lord Jesus. Peter's personality, pitfalls, and passions are riveting throughout his lifetime and in studying I and II Peter, we find the culmination of his ministry in his exhortation, "...(life) is a spiritual refining process with glory just around the corner." (I Peter 4:13, the Message)
Instructor: Jim Britton
Day: Sunday mornings starting September 14th and going through November 23rd
Time: 11:15am-12:30pm

Angels Revealed
Description: The Bible tells us that angelic beings existed from before creation, and they will be with us in heaven. Though mentioned throughout scripture, there are many misconceptions regarding angels. This study will reveal the truth about angels, including discussion about their creation and the fall of a third of their numbers from heaven. Did you know that there is an order within the ranks of angels? Do you know that angels have gender? And the truth is, we do not become angels when we die. We will explore key passages in the Bible related to angels, and find out about their purpose and ultimate destiny.
