Good Sense Ministry ...

What could the People of God do for the Kingdom of God if they were DEBT FREE?

Have you ever thought ...

  • "A little more money would solve all my problems."
  • "Just a few more things, then we'll be happy."
  • "Debt is expected and unavoidable."
  • "It's ok to carry a credit card balance, as long as I can pay the minimum payment."

The mission of Good Sense Ministry is to educate people about the Biblical Financial Principles of money management so they can move out of financial bondage into financial freedom.

Financial Nuggets ...

Savings Momentum

Saving $325/mo at 12%, it will take 20 years to save your first $300,000; but the second $300,000 will be added in just 5 years; and the next $300,000 in just over 3 years.   That's the power of momentum!  *

A Tale of two brothers

Ben saved $100/mo @ 12% from age 22 to age 72.  At the end of 50 years, he retired with $3,905,833.  His brother Dan also saved $100/mo starting at age 22.  But he removed $5000 for a down payment on a house at age 27.  He continued to save $100/mo until age 72; but he retired with only $2,828,000.  That $5000 removal cost Dan over $1 million. *
