Update: Thursday, March 12
Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been reported in the greater DFW area including Tarrant County. Hillside Community Church is increasing precautions to ensure the health of our church family. If you or an immediate family member has shown signs of sickness, please do not attend a church gathering until those symptoms are completely gone. To make sure you stay connected, you can view any talks you missed here and give here.
Symptoms include, but are not limited to:
• Respiratory Issues
Parents and guardians, please take time to review our current Well-Child Policy. We remind you that Kids and Volunteers with symptoms of sickness will not be allowed to enter the classroom. If your child is sick, please do not bring them to class–that puts our volunteers in the tough spot of enforcing the policy. Parents and guardians are the first line of defense so please honor the policy accordingly. Kids’ classrooms, including toys, are sanitized after each gathering. In addition, you will likely notice fewer toys in each room–this allows us to rotate them for easier cleaning between Sunday services. We also require all children to regularly use hand sanitizer and/or thoroughly wash their hands. Many of these actions are already practiced on a regular basis, but we are increasing our attention and diligence.
We will also be sanitizing door handles, the coffee bar, and other heavily-trafficked areas throughout Hillside’s campus between services on Sundays.
While the extent and severity of the virus is still unknown, we feel these steps are helpful in preventing the spread of the virus. We value your safety at Hillside and appreciate your help in continuing to create a safe space for children and adults.
